I just lost it and started squealing when Xena was mentioned then lost all concentration. I had to pause it and go back and watch it again to pay attention aha.
Here’s my comments on this one: https://fedscomic.blogspot.com/2014/11/review-owd-319-vanessa-meets-sera.html
Another good review and Steven puts out some good thought provoking items to think about. I enjoyed Steven’s review as I usually do. Thanks!
I don’t get why people have something against bisexuals… and would not date them… Do people lack so much self confidence that they are afraid to get too many to compete with?
I’m pansexual, and love the person. Not the gender. Why would I choose a different gender when gender doesn’t matter to me?
I love this episode. Love Sera’s speech.
Love how it tells the difficulty BI’s are having
these days (specially why some lesbians and gays
are the one’s scrutinizing them). I believe everyone
should respect others opinions and try to understand them.
I love when Sera said how she likes that we should
love a person based on who they are, and not their
gender.
Live to Love!
Thanks OWD!
Sera’s whole speech was amazing. And on top of that the added reference to Xena is killing me(in the best way possible)
The words of Sera has in inspired me.. If I don’t want to give myself a label, I don’t have to.. I never thought about it this way, it gives me strength. This whole story gives me strength and I will thank you all for that! ♥
I was a lot of time confused for my sexual orientation. I new I was not straight, because I liked girls, but I didn’t agreed with the fact of not liking any boy just because of that. After some time, I get to the definition that empowers me: it’s not about the gender,it’s about the person. I found it easier than labels for me, though I understand that some people prefers a clear label. I really liked this chapter.
Didn’t like the “Why else would they love you line.” Sometimes parents are just angry because they are bigots, and they disown you. Give what happened in the PFLAG meeting with the cancer person, having this is kind of a slap in the face.
Where did you find that awesome window?
If ever wondering “why this sound?”, they had to re-record the dialogues due to poor original recording sound, in connection to the recording location..
Not totally natural as original acting was but far better audible…
