In 2014, just before she departed on a half year long adventure around the globe, Lindsey Middleton told me that she and her travel partner Cornelia Audrey would be filming a documentary during their trip. At the time, she described it as having “something to do with happiness and perspectives of women around the world”. I could not wait to see what these two marvellous people would create.

HappyHer sets out to capture the beauty of travel and the magic of stories they discover along the way. Cornelia and Lindsey have met countless women and asked them to tell their stories and answer the question “what makes you happy?”

The footage is raw and real. The editing is spectacular. Their talented international production team is comprised only of women. I’m immensely proud of their work.
