I got many funny dad storys i think.. But my favorite dad story was my coming out story to him…
My girlfriend was going to visit my for the weekend and i had to tell it my dad, so i went to him and said:
“Dad.. You know the friend who’s coming at the weeked..”
“Yes. You told me”
“Well she is actually more than just a good friend.”
And he just was like:
“Oh i understand.”
I had to go then because my mum wanted to went shopping with me. On the drive i told her about my dad reaction and she just said, that he maybe didn’t understand. So at the evening i went to him again.
“Dad, i think you understood me wrong this morning. I said, that she is more than just a friend… Maybe you understand there something wrong..”
“Oh.. No i didn’t meen that you are lesbian.”
“Well that, actually i am.”
He looked at me and was like ‘oh’, he never thought that. But he told me that he is okay with it and everything is fine, he stil is the best possible dad for me, even if he sometimes is slow on the uptake. 😛
