Top Prize at LAwebFest 2012!

Out With Dad was honoured with several awards last night in Los Angeles at the LAwebFest 2012, including the Grand Jury Prize – which means we’re an official selection of Marseille WebFest. The news came this morning via a tweet from fellow Torontonian web series creator Jonathan Robbins, whose terrific series Clutch was also a big winner. (Seriously, it’s a great show – watch it!)

It is no exaggeration to say it is a dream come true to be travelling with team-Clutch to Marseille this October. Clutch creator Robbins on their win:

Clutch won it’s 8 awards throughout the evening, I was more and more humbled and honoured. What made me glow even more, was hearing them call Out With Dad on the list of series that we will be accompanying to Marseilles WebFest with our all expense paid trip. Jason Leaver has been an inspiration, a leader and a friend since the beginning and I couldn’t imagine a better person or a better series to share the Marseilles experience.

In addition to the Grand Jury Prize, Out With Dad was honoured with the following Outstanding Achievement awards:
