We have exciting news that we’re proud to share! Two very special awards have been announced.
9th Annual ITVFest
Last week The 9th Annual ITVFest announced Out With Dad as an official selection for their Webseries Drama category. We’re honoured by this selection in this prestigious festival. The event takes place in beautiful Dover, Vermont, September 26th to 28th, 2014. Unfortunately, the OWD team will be able to attend due to other commitments. We’re happy to see so many of our web series creator friends are also Official Selections, such as 3some, Mythos, Malice and Super Knocked-Up to name a few.
4th Annual Streamy Awards
Considered by many to be “The Golden Globes of the Internet”, the Streamy Awards is one of the top honours in the web series world. Kate Conway has been nominated for Best Actress in a Drama, along with these fantastic performers:
- Troian Bellisario, Lauren
- Ashley Clements, The Lizzie Bennet Diaries
- Francesca Eastwood, Oh, You Pretty Things!
- Julia Stiles, Blue
You may remember, this is the award we were asking you to help us get nominated in. Four of the five nominees in each category were selected by a jury of Blue Ribbon Panel Members. The fifth nominee is selected based on your audience submissions. We’ll never know if Kate was selected by the jury, our fans, or both – regardless, we’re swimming with pride for Kate.
The 4th Annual Streamy Awards will be live-streamed on September 7, 2014 from The Beverly Hilton in Los Angelas at 10:30PM Eastern, at www.streamys.org. Kate will attend the awards in person, with her mum.

I don’t think there was an announcement as to whether OWD won an ITV award nor whether Kate won the Streamy. Knowing me, I missed the announcement…so what happened? I bet there are fans world wide who would like to know.
Alas, there was nothing to report.
