An alternate take to the final scene of the final episode.
This is the scene as it was originally written and intended. We decided to shoot a more serious version of this scene without Claire-the-cheerleader action figure from Heroes.
If you look carefully in the script during the opening title, you’ll see it was supposed to be a Nathan Fillion action figure – but those are hard to find!! That in itself was supposed to be an inside joke, as Rose’s dad was named after Nathan Fillion, because I think he’s such a cool actor.
Like so many people, I was terribly disappointed that Claire being a lesbian was just a ratings stunt for sweeps week.
