On this date in 2009, an idea was born. It came from a bad dream the day before. This idea would ultimately lead to the making of a small independent production that would go on to become one of Canada’s most successful web series productions. The first two seasons were filmed with a volunteer cast and crew with costs out of our pockets. Subsequent seasons were be funded by the fans of this series. And now, it’s been eight years. After producing 678 minutes of content we will debut the eighty-second and final episode of Out With Dad.

To say the feeling is bittersweet is an understatement. For most of us, this project was the first big thing in our careers. We owe so much to the success of this project – and we owe the success of Out With Dad to it’s fans, in particular the Champions of Out With Dad. The Champions of Out With Dad are individuals from around the globe who support the making of Out With Dad. They are our monthly supporters on our Patreon, the volunteers who create and translate our subtitles, and of course the cast and crew of Out With Dad who continue to work on this series by agreeing to work at wages far below industry standards. This show, beloved around the world, quite simply could not be made without you.

The finale episode will debut on
Monday, April 10, 2017 at 1:00PM (GMT-4).

The Champions of Out With Dad are invited to join for a livestream broadcast of the episode, followed by a Q&A discussion with series creator Jason Leaver and star Kate Conway. Link to the video stream can be found here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/8739260
