“All good things…”
With a heavy heart, we have announced the conclusion of Out With Dad. In April 2017 the finale episode will be released to the Champions of Out With Dad, the fans from around the globe who have supported the creation of this series. The last eleven episodes are still exclusive to these Champions, and will remain exclusive until later this year when they are republished publicly. The precise date has not yet been established, roughly in Summer 2017. There are two factors that will determine the release date:
- We are still in the process of planning a finale screening event with wrap-party.
- Adrian Ellis’s musical score for Season 5 will be re-recorded with a string orchestra performed by live players.
The decision to end the series is bittersweet for the makers of Out With Dad. For all of us involved, creating this show has been a life changing chapter in our lives and our careers. We are proud that we can bring the story and the characters to a satisfying end. The finale episode #5.05 (82nd episode in all) is tentatively titled “Figuring it Out”; it will have a runtime of approximately fifteen minutes. An extensive end credits will be accompanied by a new suite of music composed by Adrian Ellis, and will feature names of our many supporters.

Great Videos Im Part Of PFLAG In Texas
Great series. I wanted to know is there any chance or anywhere you can purchase the series online
Not at this time. We’re considering doing this! It’s nice to know there’s interest. Thanks for asking!
I’ve loved this series for seven years. It has been with me during the years of getting over heartbreak just after figuring out my own sexuality, of starting a new relationship, of figuring out all the real hard stuff that came with that. I wrote a school paper on the series. I finished school and started uni and am now almost done with that as well.
I translated so many subtitles for this series (until at one point, I didn’t keep up anymore, and I still feel so bad for “abandoning” the series in that time). I showed it to my mom. I showed it to my girlfriend.
I cried so much and laughed so much and just loved it, wholeheartedly, for this entire time.
Thank you for all that you’ve given us. Jason, thank you to you specifically. It has been clear over those years that you have given your heart and soul for this. Thank you for your love. You have changed the world a little.
Thanks for these amazing seven years! The series helped me come out when i was still in high school, I grew so much stronger in these years and a big part was because of the beautiful story of Rose! You changed a lot of lives and we will never forget! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Comecei a ver recentemente em um dia vê todos os capítulos, vou fica bem triste de não ter mais a série… Esperando ansiosa para ver os novo e últimos vídeos … Obrigado

While I am happy that season 5 will contain seven more episodes (Did I understand this right? Four seasons with 63 episodes plus 12 video diaries equals 75, so there will be seven episodes more in S5?), I also feel incredibly sad that this great web series is coming to an end.
I began watching this in 2011 when I discovered it on YouTube, trying to find something that understood how I felt. I was fourteen then, dealing with a one-sided crush on a girl who did not know that I existed. Trying to find people like me, stories like mine.
Today, I am out to my friends and family and they have never been anything but supportive. How incredible to think that through all these years, I could always look forward to new episodes, new seasons, new incredible performances by your cast and crew – even as my own life changed so drastically. I was never disappointed. The show that you all created together is heartfelt, genuine, gut-wrenching and uplifting.
I can only imagine what it must feel like to you creators, but I can assure you that it’s a very bittersweet moment for me as a viewer. You made this corner of the internet feel like something to come home to. That means everything to me.
Thank you Caroline. It has been a bittersweet time for us indeed. I don’t think I’ve used the word bittersweet so much in my life, as I have recently. We’re proud of what we’ve done, and look forward to moving on to the next thing.
