In the current issue of magazine Canadian Screenwriter magazine (Summer 2011), Kellie Ann Benz examines some of the reasons why screenwriters in Canada are being drawn to write and create digital mediums such as web series. It’s a fascinating read, which includes interviews with writer/producers Jennica Harper (Naomi: The Show), Scott Albert (Tights and Fights), Jill Golick (Ruby Skye P.I.), myself (Jason Leaver) and many others.

I don’t subscribe to this publication, but I am very interested in obtaining this article, as I too am pursuing the digital realm as both my means of distribution and the medium with which I tell my stories. So many paperbound and hard-copy video ideas are starting to come to life in my head as purely downloadable creations that cannot be properly experienced in any other form.
